THE VAULT is a private collection of fine African art, offered to collectors, designers and institutions worldwide. Our role is to present each work honestly: to photograph it as it is, describe what it shows, and let the object speak.
We state attribution, date and provenance only once they are verified. Where a question remains open, we say so plainly — “attribution under review”, “period to be confirmed” — rather than present an assumption as fact. We never add a certificate or origin a work has not earned.
Lighting and background are arranged to show the object clearly. We do not alter the form, texture or condition of a piece — wear and repair are part of its history.
A complete narrative of the collection is being prepared from verified sources and will be published here. Until then, we prefer an honest absence to an invented story.
